An overcast sky, cool wind and frequent showers didn’t dampen the enthusiasm of either the orchestra or the audience at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert promoted by Cherry Tree Cricket Club on 5 June. It was wonderful to see and hear folks singing patriotic songs and waving Union Flagsas the orchestra launched into the ‘last night of the proms’ finale. This was certainly an event to be remembered for years to come!
